Episode 1 – Matt Black: Serial Entrepreneur

Matt Black

Matt Black is not your typical investor. A serial entrepreneur for over 30 years, highly creative & strategic thinker, he grew and exited over 12 companies of his own, and was inspiration or angelic force for good behind many hundreds more.

A feminist and crusader for equality Matt has also been a champion of the concept that positive entrepreneurial thinking can literally change the world.

His passion is helping others turning ideas into positive impact as well as financial rewards. He believes we can all contribute to tackling humanities biggest challenges if we do it together.

Matt’s 3 key mindset messages:

  1. If you help enough people get what they want, you will get what you want.
  2. Why use my brain, when you can use someone else’s.
  3. If it is hard, you are doing it wrong.

You can connect with Matt on his website or Linkedin.

The food

Like myself, Matt loves Japanese. I made Hosomaki, Salmon Aburi, Prawn Tempura and crispy sushi rice with spicy salmon tartar and pickled cherry tomatoes. All the wonderful recipes were taken from the following Atsuko Ikeda’s books: Otsumami & Sushi Made Simple. My favourite Japanese cook books, easy and simple to follow.
